Senior Gold Aurelinth x Bronze Cyrseth

July 17, 1993

Several months before Aurelinth rose, she became the Senior Queen when Chana and Melirth retired. M’gan had already become Weyrleader at Fort Weyr, and there weren’t many other Bronzeriders at the Weyr suitable for Weyrleader, so Darci had gone to Ista to arrange the transfer of G’son and Cyrseth to be temporary acting Weyrleader. By coincidence, it was Cyrseth who won her flight when Aurelinth did rise.

The Pass had started that spring, and even with all the preparation and training the wings had, they weren’t fully prepared for the realities of Threadfall. So, it was most fortuitous that the clutch that resulted was the largest yet in Weyr memory. Forty-one eggs graced the sands. When they hatched High Reaches added 15 green, 12 blue, 8 brown, 5 bronze and a queen to its roster.

(OOC: This was the first clutch on PernMUSH to make use of the egg mound. The number of PC eggs was not specified until they hatched.)
